Can I sort the pages by file name?
Yes. Click "A→Z" or "Z→A" above the page grid to group pages by their source file's name, in that order. Each file's own pages stay in their original order within the group.
How do I set the page order?
Drag any page thumbnail to a new position in the grid — even across different files. The order you arrange is the order in the final PDF.
Can I rotate or remove a page before merging?
Yes. Hover a page and use the rotate or delete button. Nothing is finalized until you click "Merge PDF."
Are bookmarks, form fields, and annotations preserved?
Not always. This tool copies each PDF's pages into a new file. Bookmarks and outlines are not carried over, and interactive form fields or annotations may not survive the merge — this is a limitation of the in-browser PDF engine.
Will the merged PDF keep password protection?
No. If any source PDF is password-protected, the merged file is rebuilt without that protection — you'll see a warning when this happens. Keep the originals if you need them secured. A PDF that needs a password just to open can't be read here at all; remove its password first with Unlock PDF.
