No. This tool reads the text and its position on each page, then reconstructs rows and columns as best it can. It works well on simple, regular tables with clear columns. Merged cells, borderless tables, multi-line cells, and complex layouts may come through imperfectly — that's a limitation of doing it entirely in your browser.
What does the output look like?
A standard .xlsx file with one worksheet per PDF page. Each detected row becomes a spreadsheet row and each column a spreadsheet column.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Not well. Scanned PDFs contain images, not text, so there's nothing to extract. Run an OCR tool first to add a text layer, then convert.
